Starting to like this board more now that I'm getting adjusted to the format. Don't mind disagreements but prefer they stay semi-cordial, unlike Appfan board. There are some seriously angry and disturbed people over there.

*Worst part of the new board: It's impossible to embed youtube videos even though there's a button.

I think one of the admins is working on making it less complicated.Gonzo wrote:Watauga72 wrote:Starting to like this board more now that I'm getting adjusted to the format. It's super easy to embed videos. Yosef has explained it before - all you need is that part located after v= in the URL. In this case dRd_vZT6zPY.Gonzo wrote:

Not enough posters to ever disagree with me!
It's lonely in here!
We used to have pages and pages after a game but now you're lucky to have a thread with 10 posts on it.... O, the good ol days.
The activity dropped off of a cliff and seems like the traffic on here is maybe 25% of what it used to be on MMB. I really miss the discussion. On MMB the Jerry Moore story would have had 500 posts by now. What happened and where did everybody go?

I'm still around, JCline and ggreg. I miss seeing you two arguing. Those were the days.

I don't like calling out individual players...they are amateurs. Paid coaches and players are fair game.AppState89 wrote:Yes they did and their coach even said it post game...Also, when I said changes made...I meant player changes, not coaches.HighPointApp wrote:I saw the exact same thing over and over. Ok...not going to call out a player, but some changes need to be made because someone got burned all damn day AGAIN....If you don't agree, I guess we have an argument going on>>>>LOL![]()

Player changes begin in great recruiting and on signing day.....something the committee failed to accomplish for a few couple of seasons....we are now reaping the rewards by having no others to fill the holes mentioned on the field in various discussions.

I know I've been hiding in the shadows a bit more around here... Pages seem to take a while to load and it's not as "smooth" as the old board.fjblair wrote:AppGrad1 wrote:I can't even get in a good argument on here anymore.

Pretty it is... fast it isn't.
One game does not a postseason make.

Also this same player many have been calling out all year is a former walk-on who earned a scholarship through stellar special teams play. He was essentially third on the depth chart and due to suspensions and injuries became the starter. He's given his all and that's all I can ask. He was just physically outmatched at times. With 63 scholarships that can happen when you have to go that far into your depth chart. We should have better talent there next year (assuming everyone returns healthy and eligible and with the upcoming recruiting class).Black Saturday wrote:I don't like calling out individual players...they are amateurs.
