Re: ODU Discussion
Thomas Davis is no longer on the team and there could be at least one more.

Re: ODU Discussion
I do agree with this general sentiment. But it is odd that guys that have been here for some time, started, played well, were team leaders, never caused issues but now are suddenly such a bad seed that they are kicked off a team in mid season. Shawn Collins and Thomas Davis never seemed like bad apples, until they were kicked off.

Re: ODU Discussion
If they’re going to score everytime they have the ball, does it matter if they start at the 25 or 50? Also, if just 1 or 2 onsides kicks gets recovered, it could result in a 28 point swing.

Re: ODU Discussion
Or could be...... that past coaches didn't discipline well and allowed shenanigans... I mean we kept a helmet swinger on the team.t4pizza wrote: ↑Tue Oct 21, 2025 10:59 amI do agree with this general sentiment. Re: ODU Discussion
Agreed. Just meant to say that looking back on it, it was a clear sign discipline was not a core value of that years team.

Re: ODU Discussion
Our DL could certainly use his talents about now instead of Tulane. Though, perhaps not his antics.ASUTodd wrote: ↑Tue Oct 21, 2025 11:54 amOr could be...... that past coaches didn't discipline well and allowed shenanigans... Re: ODU Discussion
No...not at all...nope. Its one thing to have a fight in practice or exchange words.... its another to use a weapon on another player. Glad he's gone.hapapp wrote: ↑Tue Oct 21, 2025 12:48 pmOur DL could certainly use his talents about now instead of Tulane. Re: ODU Discussion
Didn't say he should be here, but his talent would be helpful especially as we seem to be losing DL left and right.ASUTodd wrote: ↑Tue Oct 21, 2025 12:50 pmNo...not at all...nope. Re: ODU Discussion
I do not believe Coach DLo is doing this is a silo. He has a DC that is a former App. St. player and a damn good one. He knows the standard. I trust the coaching staff.

Re: ODU Discussion
He knows what is expected. I trust they are not doing it just because they feel like it. Especially with the injuries. I trust them to bring it back. Especially with DJ in the mix.BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Tue Oct 21, 2025 4:27 pmI do not believe Coach DLo is doing this is a silo. He has a DC that is a former App. St. player and a damn good one.
