I won't predict as it is a crapshoot to predict any scores of any match ups. (witness how much money was likely lost on the last ASU-Michigan game) But I have said it before...the Samford game is the turning point of the war.

If App is to win this weekend, it will be based on the intangibles. The Mountaineers have to want this win more than Sammy. They will have to fight for every inch more than they have yet done this season. On paper, in the numbers Sammy is bigger, faster, higher scoring, and more stringent defense. App has to overcome that with pure will, and desire to win.

It's going to take some heart, desire and will to win for the Apps this week. I think the team has it in them to pull off a close one in the Good Guy's favor.

Should be a good game. Samford has not played well in Boone to date. ASU will need to find a pass rush. Their QB got rattled with pressure last year but he's quite dangerous. He'll tear us apart if we don't pressure him. As some previous posters suggested, I see a tight game in the low 30's. It's time for ASU to make the big plays in key situations. I still believe - of course it will likely be a 3-point game.

Sammy will have to play their most complete game of the season or APP moves to 2-1 in the SoCon. Our team showed some real heart last week in Chucktown. Go Apps!
