While I think their protest is misguided and misdirected some of the responses here seem a bit immature and intolerant. Seems to me the best way to deal with them is to ignore their protest and enjoy the game.

OK internet tough guy, how exactly does this protest have anything whatsoever to do with politics?
It doesn't. He just wanted a chance to show his other internet gangsta friends that he isn't afraid to use the shift button $$$ !!!

I disagree with how they're going about protesting and as others have pointed out they should be in Raleigh. Shouldn't dismiss someone's right to protest with threats made through your wi-fi connection buddy. You wouldn't do anything if they came by your tailgate, because there is no firewall to protect you.

The less attention paid to this the better. Actors without an audience haven't a show.

I would like to see the other 99.9% of the student body stage a counter protest, if not at 2:00, perhaps beginning around 7:30.

If 89 is who I think he is, he doesn't need a firewall.

Wow guys. Take a chill pill. We get to park and see the game. What have we lost. Let them have their fun. They will be forgotten by 12:00 noon on Friday. Our victory over the guys from down there will be talked about for many many years to come.

They have the right to assemble. We have the right to ignore their little hissy fit.

I really can't imagine why this surprises anyone. You guys apparently have forgotten what it was like to be a kid. You think the world is supposed to be perfect. People usually don't figure out that it isn't and will never be until they get out and start doing 40 hrs per week. I was a biology major and somewhat of a tree hugger during my App days. I remember the faculty whipping us up over the planned building of a new basketball arena up behind Broyhill in the middle of the biological studies area. We walked out and protested in front of the chancellor's office. Felt like we were accomplishing something. Let these kids stand up for what they think is right. It might even make the administration come up with a better solution next time. As far as changing the world, App got their new basketball arena and there is a new baseball stadium sitting where the biological studies area used to be and we deserved both. We will always have a kick ass football team. So just let it go and let's raise hell tonight at the Rock!

Someone said this protest has nothing to do with politics, well you are right. While these idiots are likely raging liberals, they only want attention and money.

Just drink a beer and enjoy them as they make fools of themselves. That's all their worth, they will cease to exist by Friday.

Immature and intolerant? Che-it. I was trying to offend everyone, in a subtle, and yet humorous, way.

I can see you did not catch the humor in my earlier post.

OK, next time, I'll just be offensive.

Hello Keyboard Warrior. Please do enlighten us as to what you are going to do if the protestors choose to engage in their right to free speech near you.

Since I'm going to be leaving soon, I'm just going to go ahead and kill this now before it gets to where it is rapidly heading.
