I’m gonna throw this out. Why do some of you guys absolutely believe that this is the most talented team ever? I mean this bunch of guys has done great things but last year was rough for many reasons and our bowl game was a joke. Just because some guys return doesn’t mean they stay great. Some guys regress. I could point out a few but won’t.

Why do you think they regressed? Did they turn into divas or is it how they are coached? Just asking your thoughts not throwing rocks

Please enlighten me as to the rules on this board? We are not allowed to mention players in thread titles? I correctly pointed out our starting quarterback overthrew two passes and turned the ball over and the thread was nuked. If there is a rule about that so be it but I didn’t even put him down. I simply pointed out the drive. Yet all I’m reading is how much our teams collectively sucks for 3 pages. This board is pretty ironic

Your post had much more intent to it than that and you know it. That same QB just tossed a 62 yd TD as well.

I don't know if Clark should be fired or not. I certainly wouldn't sandwich a contract extension and increase in between a loss and our first ever bowl loss, in which we're being trounced.

Y’all know the other team practices too, right? Y’all know the other coaches game plan too, right? Have y’all not heard all the gaudy stats WKU has put up this year? The announcers have only mentioned it a hundred times.

I still view this season as a success. I hope this butt whooping is a wake up call and results in a more dynamic offense next year.

At least one guy looks to have gained weight and is slower. I just don’t think because guys returned that they became better. Other teams recruit, practice and try to win. Not divas by any means.

The fact you had to make a separate thread to make a single post about Brice says you wanted to call him out. You could have posted it in the game thread.

Clark hire was a panic move.

Hiring the guy “all the players want” rarely works out long term.

Wish we would have kept bringing in power 5 mindsets and pedigree. Not sure if we’ll have that chance again any time soon.

Lose the next three games in a similar fashion and oof…

Those of you who keep crying about how bad our coaches are and how we have regressed so much..what do you suggest we do? fire clark? people forget we are not the only team in the nation that returned a ton of players...EVERYBODY did. We did not go into the season with this rediculous advantage over everyone as some of you think. it was a blessing that hennegin, virgil, sutton, etc. came back...if it werent for the WCU oline transfer coming in..we would have struggled much more up front....Chase has been really good all year. We have 10 wins...if we are competing for a championship ...which we did...and getting to and winning bowls...which we have 6 years in a row and probalby 1-1 under clark...i mean what is there really to complain about? idk

I'm not clamoring to fire Clark, but I definitely had an issue with extending his contract at this juncture. I'm not suggesting what we "should" do, but i definitely knew something we "shouldn't" do under the circumstances. I wanted to eat crow today and see some promise for the future, but I'm just seeing the continued steady regression I've seen all season.
