We traveled 287 from Fort Collins to Laramie yesterday and it was beautiful.
Absolutely a beautiful drive. Would recommend it to anyone. Just have a full tank of gas…there’s NOTHING between Estes Park and Laramie.

Yeah, lots of Apps in Fort Collins tonight, I’m calling it, the War be KBS west tomorrow!
Laramie was PACKED with App fans too. Was a blast when the Wyoming band came into Bonds. Living in Laramie I've been looking forward to this game for years, I'm so glad App Nation showed up in droves.
With the high wind advisory, will they close 287 between Fort Collins and Laramie?
Zero chance

Hooboy did their fans get mouthy after that. I took my hat off leaving. Even the nice ones around us were nasty. Tough ending, won’t be back.

We were in section CC and had plenty of Wyoming folks around us. They were all very pleasant when we were winning and eventually when we gave it away. Really enjoyed the folks in Laramie.

The folks around us were great until the block. Then they started really talking at us. After the game ended, they doubled up. There were a couple who were trying to get people to talk back.

As I left I took my hat off. I didn’t want their fans knowing I was an App fan. There were some people looking to try and start crap with anyone they could.

Up to that point I had really enjoyed every interaction. It was chippy, but never felt more than fans having fun. Once they were up for good, they got brave.

We had a fantastic experience. Several gladly welcomed us to join their tailgate and a great time was had by all. We’d make the trip again in a heartbeat.

Yep. Great hospitality. We went to Medicine Bow National Forest before going to App. St. tailgate. Some awesome views.
