ECU is a buffer game.

ECU is a team that slightly worries me. They can't be worse than last year and Dowdy will not be an easy stadium to play in. I certainly believe we are the better team and have improved ourselves from the game last year but it will be tough I think.

The last couple of years have been tough on their fans as reality finally settled in. They now readily accept that App is the better program, and that kills them. Their fanbase will be fired up for our visit. Don't know if their players will be.

All the changes in the last 10 years in college football has made them like a rudderless ship. They don't really have a light shining at the end of the tunnel right now, so a win again a regional rival will be something they'll really work for.

Too funny. That G-webb RB didn't get drafted for those keeping score at home while rushing for 700 yards last season. What a fun discussion last year.

Just saw that the SBC championship is Dec 7th at 7:30pm EST.

It will be interesting to see how our South Alabama game on ESPN does with ratings vs other ACC Thursday night games. It will be a good measuring stick to see how relevant we are. There shouldn't be much other football on that night.

That is exactly why it is a good measuring stick. Some teams like Coastal or Marshall will play NotreDame, USCalifornia, Clemson on a Thursday night and say look at our ratings. (When people tuned in for the other team) This game will show what AppState can pull for ratings. On the Flagship ESPN. No excuses just numbers.

Don’t get me wrong I like nasty weather in Boone but let’s hope for 35 and clear with calm winds. We don’t seem to do so well in the nasty Boone weather.

Both SBC championship games in Boone were good weather. If I remember correctly, second one had a little bit of rain before or after the game....
It beats traveling to the opponent no matter the weather.in Boone. I will take Boone for the win....
