We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Vegas lines left the building after that ECU game dime.

Get it together man, you sound like a typical ACC fan with this slander. Part of being an app state fan is always thinking we CAN make that big play at the moment we need it because we have done it so many times over the years. Being an underdog is what we feed on, it’s the prologue to all of our best moments, it’s what makes the wins we get memorable and it’s what makes us who we are.NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2024 5:19 pmHow our team starts the game will tell me what I need to know. Another slow start and the TV gets turned off. Screens to our fullback and the TV gets turned off. A 65 yard post pass for a TD against our D and the TV gets turned off. 7 missed tackles on one play and the TV gets turned off. You get the gist.
Being in school through the Richie Williams and Armanti era, we would turn every tv in the house on so that we could get more TV viewer counts before we went to the game in person. I say this not to berate you or anyone here but as a passionate reminder that our program is more than the in game stats, it’s about proving doubters wrong and fueling the fire.
You better believe our players an embarrassed, ashamed and disheartened after that game, but tomorrow the anger starts and the switch turns on.

This statement could be appropriate or applicable on any of the recent never ending negative based threads. I have found that over the years folks who are deeply entrenched one way or the other politically will not be swayed even if they are presented with compelling arguments/evidence/facts that contradicts the views of a particular person leading their party. Same with the coaching debate. We obviously have factions who are dug in on either side and won’t be swayed non matter what is presented. We also have a majority who are adult, rational people who don’t live and die with football. A great majority of App fans aren’t worrying to damn death about the minutiae that the lunatic fringe on this board seems to focus on. It’s a game.

Ok, if we get more of the same uninspired play, why should I waste my afternoon watching? If the players have quit and it shows, I’m supposed to stay invested?Coltrane86 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2024 10:43 pmGet it together man, you sound like a typical ACC fan with this slander. Re: Moving on to Liberty
Just to be clear, I want the players and coaching staff to be successful. But at a certain point, you can’t keep doing the same things and expect different results. If we see the same things in the first quarter of Liberty, you know what the outcome is going to be. I hope we get them corrected and hope we can get things turned around. It happened last year, so it could happen again. I think we have the players to do it and we have some good coaches on staff. A good manager who embraces change and entrusts his staff to make the right decisions should be able to make this happen.

App coming off an embarrassing loss, playing at home vs a G5 opponent, with two extra days to prepare.
All signs should point to a win.

Local weatherman in Charlotte (Brad Panovich) is predicting up to 10" of rain over the weekend. Curious if the game will be postponed

Yet some here say we are losing because we don’t have the talent. The head coach is saying he brought these players here.
Now what’s the excuse?

I was just pointing out that it was normal coach speak from him. Only real info was the injury update.
