Some of y’all are going way to far and also throwing some stone while living in a glass house. McCall is a gamer, I have very little doubt that he wanted to be on the field. Every team in the NCAA plays kids who are injured. Cobb has had an ongoing shoulder injury for weeks. Started the game and re-injured the same shoulder. Do you really think he was fully healed? I for one see McCall as one hell of a ball player. Would have loved to have seen what he could have done in the black and gold. Not a swipe at Chase who has been great for us.

If Chadwell didn't have a history of playing hurt players, I'd agree with you. Hell, the same player last year fell twice and puked everywhere. Clear as could be a concussion. Chadwell played him against team trainers and doctors wants (hence a new team doctor this year).

Let's also not forget Chadwell playing players not even enrolled in the school while at Charleston Southern. Dude does whatever it takes to win. Doesn't matter if rules or players safety get in the way. He simply only cares about himself.

I no nothing about CCU or Chadwell except what I see from watching them play. That said there is one thing that makes me pretty sure McCall doesn’t feel mistreated at all in Coastal, the transfer portal. After the 2020 season McCall could have picked any G5 team he wanted to play for and probably would have had a few P5 offers. He’s still at CCU.

He is a kid. Of course he doesn't feel mistreated they are letting him play. It is up to the adults to protect him. The only person in the program worse than Chadwell is the person who hired him and keeps him.

Pretty sure he has parents. Look I’m in no position to support or criticize Chadwell but players aren’t running for the door so it must not be too bad.

Of course they aren't. I wouldn't be surprised if they have fake classes like UNCheat. He's a players coach. Never did I say players don't like playing for him. But he has a history of ruining players careers. I can't find it now, but there's an article out there about a lawsuit from a former player because he was forced to play injured and that made the injury worse. Believe it was at Charleston Southern and the law suit was against the athletic department -- not Chadwell.

I'll never go back there for a game. My wife and I were harassed in bumper to bumper traffic on 501 twice on our way in, traffic control was non-existent and the whole game experience was bad. I never thought I'd say this but was worse than our last trip to the Stink.

I will go back there for sure to cheer for the team. Although losses on the last two trips, there are other benefits as it has been shorts weather and T-shirts. We have stayed at hotel with oceanfront rooms when rates are cheaper than summer rates. We ignore the immature haters. I hope the game remains in early November.

The atmosphere was pretty stale during the game, their fanbase doesn’t understand when to make noise honestly.

The student section was only loud during timeouts chanting F App State…

On the way out a young man mispronounced App and yelled we sucked at me and my daughter as we walked past. He was with two ladies who to their credit apologized for him. He then tried to ask if that was my daughter in a rude manner, the girls shut him down. If it had been 2-3 guys I’m sure he would have gone there.

Also walked out with a former App LB from the Satt era, he had some interesting and colorful things to say about our defense.

I mean, one of the first crowd shots of the game had a kid with a T-shirt that said “I nut teal.” Just real classy.
