I say rename Blowing Rock Rd (or at least Rivers St) to Jerry Moore Way

I think it would be fitting. Coaches with less impressive records in the FBS get the same or similar.

I think it's very football

With the stadium already being named for a former Appalachian Football coach, (as much as we may want it to) I doubt this will happen.

Some level of tribute should and hopefully will be made

Certainly, something needs to be done to honor Coach Moore. One of the true gems of college football coaching.

Why can't it be named Moore-Brewer Stadium? Many schools do this. Jordan-Hare, Bryant-Denny, Dowdy-Ficklin are three that come to mind. If we are going to do it, I want to do so while he can still enjoy it, and not wait around until he either passes or gets too old.

I'm fine with that too. The petition says "or something similar".

Wendell "Dell" Murphy might have a problem with that.

Why can't we name the the new high rise athletic facility (contains the coaches' offices, YOSEF Club, weight rooms, locker rooms...) behind the west stands after him. Put Coach Moore's name in big letters on the side of it in his honor. He deserves at least that and we will probably never have a more committed coach again IMO.

It was named after KB mainly because the family ponied up the money.
