With so many close calls over the last few years, I wonder which game you would choose to have won if you could choose only one?

For me, the Wake game still hurts the most, I would go with that.

Penn State, if only because we don’t know how their season will turn out. With UT, we know that was a rough season for them and our victory would have been a footnote. PSU could still have a good season, in which case our win would carry more weight.

And at least with Wake we get a do-over soon enough.

Probably Tennessee by a hair over Penn State. Wake a distant third (although it hurt badly for sure, but that win wouldn't have been nearly as big a deal as the others).

Now if we go 12-1 this year, this answer changes.

Man that’s tough. For me none of the losses as FCS. Wake because we were at home maybe- but we used to beat them a good bit. How about Miami? First big time school at home? Maybe. Penn State- I think I go with that game even more than UGA or Clemson. If the criteria is games we should have won then definitely PSU!

Those 3 hurt bad. I am still recovering from the Penn State trip and all, but I would pick this past weekend's game. Penn State is a great program and it would have been a great win.

Tennessee, because I was there. I was at Wake too, but that atmosphere at Neyland was a bigger deal...., a big time road win in the opening game of college football on primetime tv, vs a team from the premier football conference in America....ahh what could have been. The other reason I pick Tenn is I feel that our mistakes cost us that one, as opposed to Penn St where they just made plays when it counted.

Wake was in the bag until we farked up the field goal. That one bugged me the most. The other two games we weren't expected to win. Wake Forest from the get-go was always considered a winnable game.
