Best receiving corps in App Stae History

A conversation on the Sun Belt forum got me thinking. Two questions related to the best group of receivers at App:
1. Best starting three
2. Best total group (considering depth)
For simplicity, only consider on-the-field performance (cough, Price, cough) and don't consider performance in the pros.
A few candidates:
2007, 2011, 2012, 2018

2018 has yet to play out but right now we have more talent than I can remember. The big play ability of Sutton , Vigil and Heath individually rival Dexter Jackson or Brian Quick. And there’s three of them. Hennigan is your clutch guy and can make you pay too, as can Williams.

Definitely too early to judge 2018, but no harm in speculating based on what we've seen so far! Crazy to think we'll have all those guys except Heath for two more years (and Zac Thomas slinging it to them).

I like this thread and surprised it hasn't gotten more convo.
But also want to throw out a single name Davon Fowlkes - one for the record books, played when we were not a spread offense. But also was our go to receiver - he holds several records and is basically in the top 5 of most categories when it comes to receiving stats.

Says a lot to me when last year Hennigan seemed to dominate for WRs in a lot of games and this year he doesn't have too much to show except the PR TD. He's the quiet part of the WR action this year it seems.

These type of era/season comparisons will be fun to debate. Obviously the upgrade in athlete abilities will be apparent as we move forward. We had some fast guys in the past and some good groups but as a whole this has to be the best ever (and will be even better next year). That play Saturday by Hennigan was ridiculous. He literally had two little guys on his back and legs and dragged them for 5 yards or so. Have we ever had this many big plays (over 40 yards) in a season let alone 3 games?

It was three guys and he drug them 15 yards. But I digress.

IMHO, this group is the best ever. We've had seasons were there was a guy (maybe two) who were elite. The WR corp as a whole this year are all special. I think the biggest indicator of this is the small presence Hennigan has had thus far. It could also be, though, that we have a QB with an arm who can sling it to open guys.

Yes, at the game I thought it was 5 yards. On the replay, I counted 17 yards. Rediculous!
