I was in the rams club section and heard a guy say "wait till basketball season, play us and it will be the longest day of your life". lolololololol! This made my day.

Shhh! The secret is out. We know how to play football better than they do.

I hope we play them in round ball. I can get good tickets for that one and wear my black and gold! Anything is possible. Anyone any place.

They thought they had this game won. They were wrong.

That guy is moving the goal posts to women’s soccer.

They are trying to portray themselves as a heavily favored Michigan-like Goliath, who got upset and they just aren’t- only in their minds.

Over on The Tar Pit there are more level-headed reasonable UNC posters than I would have guessed. But man, there’s a few saying that UNC gave us the game, if only they didn’t have any turnovers, they would have won. Most spoiled, delusional fan base ever, which is why I am ecstatic with our win. How sweet it is!

Charlotte was saying the same thing, like defense and turnovers aren't a part of the game.

If App hadnt of played defense, we wouldve won

If ifs and buts we’re candy and nuts we’d all have a merry Christmas.

But a wins a win, and if any of those P5 peeps ever bothered to look at the G5 teams not named UCF or Boise State, they would have seen this coming.

All this whining makes me respect Penn State’s fan base even more.

Typical Carolina fan argument. When you lose resort to talking about previous titles, most of which they weren't even alive to see. If that doesn't work, then they talk about how Michael Jordan went to Carolina...you know because his decision to attend UNC had everything to do with his greatness in the NBA.

If that's really how they feel---that there are too many FBS teams in NC---then they should go ahead and just shut theirs down. Their fans don't seem to actually even like football. They just like winning.

Then again, I worry about a big chunk of our fanbase, too. We haven't had to weather adversity in many years. I think a large percentage of our fans--certainly more of our fans than the Heels fanbase--truly loves the game and the traditions and bleeds black and gold. But I remember the moaning I heard from the fairweathers when we lost to A&T back in '13. Every fanbase has its dead weight, but I pray we're never as complacent and clueless as a sizeable portion of the Chapel Hill fanbase appears to be.

Now on to Coastal
