They will probably get to face a Georgia team THEY can actually beat in the championship.

Cajun fans are NOT dancing in the streets. Having an undefeated Sun Belt team going into the Conference Championship game would have been a good thing for the conference. Most Cajun fans were hoping App State would have gone undefeated until we could possibly meet again in the SBC Championship.

True. My wife is from LA and we have family in Lafayette. All LSU fans but word on the street was the Ragin' Cajuns wanted us again bad. I had already gotten see you in December e-mail....

There are still ample opportunities to see them in December. Georgia State has possibly (probably) their best team since re-starting their football program this year and has been Southern's Pappy anyway. If we win the rest of our conference games, there is certainly a possibility we still get the Championship game

Georgia Southern owns us, we own Louisiana and Louisiana owns Georgia Southern.
