Just heard that David Neeld,App State linebacker of the late ‘60s and early ‘70s passed Sunday. He could pound you into the ground of Conrad and stand over you smiling a toothy grin.

I've read two threads this morning and both were bone-chilling--but in different ways. I need to go for a long walk to do some thinking.

Yes, good friend David NEELD passed away a week ago Sunday morning in Boone. From time to time David would reach out and I’d help him with Doctor visits etc. He was a good soul that enjoyed his dog and area friends. His football stories were the best. I visited him 2 weeks ago and he told me he was ready. No more pain. I met David back in the early 70’s. See you again some day....
