Coastal Carolina will host Arkansas State Oct 3 in Conway, SC to determine the champion of the Sunflower State. Time and viewing options will be determined at a later date.
How they got here:
In semi final #1, Arkansas State came from behind to beat Kansas State in The Little Apple, by a score of 35-31.
In the night cap , Coastal Carolina cruised past the Jayhawks in Lawrence, 38-23.
This will be the first time the state championship game will be held outside the state of Kansas. This will also be the first time the Kansas State Championship will be won by a Sun Belt Conference school.
