That's the total sold by both App and ECU combined at the moment.

Well that would be a great steal for me since I bought $50 tickets in the upper bowl on the app side...

From my understanding we have sold more than 14,500 just from App site and ticketing. From what the numbers look like we (App) should be over 20K for our side.

I was really hoping for for 45k or better. Our home games are usually around 25k. I would think ECU does at least that as well. Thursday night will hurt and so does last year. Not a lot of hype coming out of last year. We, the administration, needs to work hard at getting the students out.

We do usually have around 25k at the Rock, but about 10K or so are students who get in free. Even at the $25 student yosef club price, how many students can we realistically expect to make this game on a Thursday night? Sure the students that live in or around Charlotte and are willing to blow off afternoon Thursday class and most likely Friday classes will attend, but how many is that? Hopefully the school does something to facilitate a lot of students going down (like cancelling Friday classes, buses, etc) but based on our track record I would be very surprised if anything like that happens. Not being pessimistic here, just using history as a guide.

I’m wondering if the Luke Combs concert on Saturday is cutting into some folks ability to go to the game??? Also, being a holiday weekend, are there even Friday classes scheduled? Hopefully, a lot people are just waiting till the end to get tickets. No matter, I can’t wait to Give’ em Hell!

Most certainly. Our students aren’t rich. They could probably do one, not both, in a weekend. And Combs only comes once. The football team will be in Boone again.

A couple of us on here stated it would likely hurt the numbers back when Combs was announced that Saturday. I’ll be very curious to know the student attendance in Charlotte, should that data exist. I suspect very low.

Combs should not cut down on attendance for ECU. Moving to Thursday is more of a culprit. Sure, students can't attend both, but most students that bought tickets to Combs bought them over a year ago. The bigger hurdle is getting down the mountain and back up on a Thursday with missing minimal class. Unless they have family in the area, highly doubt many will be staying the night on Thursday as hotels in Charlotte are really high that weekend.

I wasn’t referring to students as much as I was App fans and Alumni. Of course the move to Thursday hurt in general and it’s less ideal for the ECU fan base having discussed with some of their side around the region. The way I see it, if you want to be in Charlotte for the game you will make it happen. Easy for me to say as it’s a home game. If I could have gotten Combs tickets, I’d be there too. Just think because the concert is a rescheduled event, some folks may have a large weekend planned in Boone because they committed or planned it before the 2 events eventually coincided. Maybe their is a crossover and maybe not, just throwing it out there.

Also, wondering if Luke Combs might be part of the football game somehow…National Anthem perhaps? Haven’t checked to see his schedule but there are some rumors. That would be awesome!

You have to go through BOA stadium. I called the ticket office on Wed to order Miami tickets. I was told that App has no more ECU tickets to sell.

Learned last night that some ticket packages that Clemson is selling includes a ticket to the App-ECU game. 2 for the price of 1 so to speak.

Good to hear we sold out of our allotment. Looking at Ticketmaster right now, the only regular tickets (non resale) available are in the corners of the bottom section. Vast majority are resale everywhere else. Just a handful still available up top
