Happy Birthday to a great man!
His statue is long overdue in the stadium plaza.
When any mention of App State sports especially football comes up.....Jerry is the first thing comes to my mind. LEGENDARY COACH is an understatement.
He will never be replaced. Principles and Values were greater than his victories!
HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Every former player of his that I’ve ever spoken with gives him all the credit for their development as a person first. That speaks highly of how he ran the program. You can tell he enjoyed developing men rather than football wins/players.
