This team, the one we saw today, will lose to coastal and ULL. And Marshall. We are looking at 9-3 with this performance.

Dress it up how you will, this game was a pig.

And Miami got blown out by a bottom tier BIG 10 team.
What are you talking about? Coastal beat 1-2 Buffalo by 3 points. UL beat their FCS team by 3 points. Marshall has looked pretty evenly matched with ECU through the first half. We didn't look great today, but nobody else on our schedule has looked any better.
UL blew the doors off of Ohio, an FBS team.

Marshall is beating the crap out of an FBS team.

We looked bad against an FCS team. That’s the problem
You do realize that UL only beat FCS Nicholls St 27-24 last week?

Ohio is 0-3 now....i guess congrats on the big win UL?

marshal is not doing great against ecu. currently up 38-34 o a team we handled and kept to 19

Some of you are acting like these teams are dominating Ohio state and West Virginia. Cmon now.

SMH so you're comparing our sloppiest game to everyone else's best game as proof that we're going to lose those games? Ohio is 0-3 with one of their losses against Duquesne. Elon would probably beat Ohio. And UL struggled with them early... I watched the game.

Marshall is winning 38-34 and that's "beating the crap out of them"? Even if it was a 10 point game when you posted, that's not beating the crap out of them. 44-10 is beating the crap out of someone

This may be true but it’s also true that our score was something like 14-10 in the 4th quarter

I don’t think the way we played today is reflective of how we do this season but I still would have liked to see us execute better. And was a little surprised to see our lines struggle a bit against Elon.

Marshall is in a battle with ECU right now and we should be able to move the ball at will on them.

20-3 in the 3rd
27-10 by the end of the 3rd.

Always remember...all these teams practice, watch film, have good coaches, have good athletes and play hard...nothing is a guarantee in sports. Good win on a big day for App footballl, on to Marshall.

#4 Oregon is only up by 10 points against Stony Brook at halftime. Point being: no team plays all their games perfectly. It happens.

Miami had 4 turnovers today just saw, wished they’d used a couple of those against us.

ECU just beat Marshall. Each team had over 560 yards of offense. ECUs qb threw for nearly 400 yards. Marshall will likely score a few points, but I have no doubt that App will move the ball on them.

We had better success blitzing King last week than letting Cheek take his time today. Wonder how we try to handle Wells.

Don’t know what we’ll dial up but no need to tip our hand this week. Hope that Huff, Harrington, and Frizell suit up Thursday.

I hope they are back too. I didn't like the full game prevent defense today, thT won't work on Marshall.

Serious question (not being a smart ass), but do you legitimately think, after seeing the ECU and Miami games, that we would trot out this same defensive scheme against Marshall?

To me, it seemed we did what we needed to today to get the win and preserve our players as much as possible. We were in no way aggressive on d, and we didn’t really need to be. It wasn’t overly pretty, but it was a win.

Agree we will have a different game plan.

My battle to watch next week will be our oline versus their dline. If I recall from last year, they dominated us up front and we could never get the run game going. Which forced us to try to win through the air.

Lol oh sorry. It was frustrating 650 days ago, during the Combs concert, and today.
