I don't think any of us were wrong for calling out out coaching after last week. Something was off and despite a few extremist calling for "firing" or whatever, most were noting that the seat is getting hot. This team is loaded with talent and we should expect the most out of them. I guarantee you they are expecting more out of what we delivered last week- and it showed last night. I reserve judgement until I see how someone responds to adversity, and Clark and Co showed me they can handle it and respond in a big way. Now, let's win out and put that LALA game for in the rear view
I just don't believe the seat was ever getting warm yet. If it was we probably need different people making decisions.
Let's be fair, most of the heat was coming from us. :D

But after we strung together a few seemingly lackluster efforts, even if only for a few quarters, I'm sure some minds were wandering.
I don't think any that matter.

I am very pleased about last night. Coastal is really good and it was a great win for us. The crowd was amazing for a Wednesday night. There is a lot to be proud of. The thing that impressed me the most (and the thing I didn't think would happen) is we came back from down 14. Clark, his staff and his players deserve a lot of credit for that.

I think the leader of the hot seat crowd was seated behind me last night. He was calling Clark every name in the book, even called him Chris Moore several times. I hope he is not as hard on his midget team players and his fantasy team.

Probably someone who has a sad pitiful life... believes this outlet gives him a sense of importance. After the game, he went back to his mother's basement..,🤣

Just curious, what has to happen for the Championship game to be in KBS....besides us winning out...
If we win out..and say LaLa loses one or two conference games (get it that it is highly unlikely)...and are ranked below us
...would we host...or the fact that they beat us in head to head competition mean they automatically host?
Well, stating the obvious, we need to win the East first. Then we need someone other than Louisiana to win the West.
Or, we could win out and Louisiana could win the West with two losses. That would move the game to Boone.

In order to host the CC at KBS, App needs to win out and the Cajuns need to lose 2 conference games since they have the head to head. If CCU and UL had both gone undefeated in conference, the Conway Twitty birds would’ve hosted the Cajuns since they would’ve been the higher ranked team.

Order of hosting championship game day operations goes: highest winning percentage in conference games, head to head, highest ranked team per CFP selection committee and then it starts getting into composite computer rankings. See link for all tie-breaker rules.

LaLa dodged one last night. Could have gone the other way sans a dropped pass.

Proves that we'd better not take the foot off the gas the rest of the way.

CCU is history. Our most important game is in one week.

One game at a time, stay focused and there's a good probability we'll see LaLa again. If so, I like our chances!
