That sort of revenue loss would likely force UT's hand to do more with security and safety, but that video monitoring or security at the seats or whatever works. Let the away team keep their seats. And UT has to reimburse season ticket holders 1/6 of the ticket package, assuming they have six home games.

Re: Behavior at games
It’s an interesting question. Just fining the school doesn’t directly affect those that caused the issue. Nothing out of pocket do the instigators so what lesson do they learn? Seems that cameras around the stadium capturing behavior where infractions against fan policy result in loss of privilege to attend are your most reasonable response.

I would generally agree. The only thing is this didn’t happen in one isolated spot. Or it wasn’t one or two pieces of debris.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 1:31 pmIt’s an interesting question. Exactly. But in a crowd of 100k+, it still was a small minority of people. Hard to punish the masses, or the school for the judgement of a relative few. It’s a tough one to answer for sure.AppinVA wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 1:40 pmI would generally agree. The only thing is this didn’t happen in one isolated spot. Re: Behavior at games
Might have to put up big nets all around the bottom section to prevent that stuff and stop field storming

Hope it doesn’t become commonplace like at Georgia Southern. I have been pelted by plastic mini footballs, pizza discs with the GS logo on them and Bud Light cans. Haven’t heard of the SBC penalizing them.

Re: Behavior at games
Don’t honor tickets for that section next game! Anyone trying to sit there automatically removed from stadium.
