I don't pick scored, primarily because I'm terrible at it. I'm a total, unapologetic homer so I can't set that aside and be "neutral". That's why I'm not a betting man. I don't hold anything against those who can or do. I have concerns...same as many above. If Cam doesn't play, that really hurts. Cam would have made a HUGE difference last week. If he doesn't play, I almost hope that we use Castle and Smith in the first half more. Let their D get some bumps and bruises trying to drag down Castle, and get winded trying to chase Smith. Let's Noel and Harrington loose in the second half once they're softened up. I realize that's probably insane, and obviously if we aren't moving the ball, adjustments have to be made. I predict that Brice and the WRs are on a quest to purge all memories of last week. Shorter routes and quick passes keep Coastal from being able to commit to a blitz....keep them honest. Yeah, throw down field a little but we don't live by the long bomb. We live by moving the chains.

Now that I think about it....I'll let the coaches decide what strategy to use. I think we see real App football and prove that last week was an anomally.

Not sure what to think about some of you, have lost all confidence after last week. Getting our our short passing game is the key tonight, with their good DEs. Coastal will scheme to stop our zone runs. On D, we have to make McCall feel the heat, he's got unreal passing numbers.

I am stunned as to the complete lack of confidence this board has in our team. We may very well lose but I damn sure expect us not to. More people picked us to win against Miami on the road

1) We weren't coming off a 4 TD loss before that game.

2) Coastal is better than Miami.

1.Doubt we have 4 TO tonight.

2. Not better than a Miami team with a relatively healthy King

3. When we play like we all know we can, the Teal Turkeys will get the air let out of their ranking.

As good as our program is, and the personnel we have this year, I think Coastal is ripe at #14, for us to get the curse of Michigan off our back we’ve had since 2007.

PS - nothing wrong in picking us against Miami, we played well enough and could have won.

I am right there with you. People are absolutely entitled to their opinions and can voice them but I have never understood how any App fan would type out a prediction having us lose. If we played Georgia tonight I’m not delusional enough to really think we would win but I damn sure would not type out a score predicting us to lose. If I really don’t think we will win I just won’t offer up a score. Some guys want to come back later and say- “I told you”. I was pissed about the effort, play calling, execution, etc against La but I let it go. Tonight is a new opportunity and I fully expect 100% effort, better coaching and a W.

Don't recall exactly but I believe it was the Tennessee game that I predicted our losing and we took them to OT, and lost on a freak fumble recovery in the end zone...I swore then I'd never doubt our guys again...

Coastal is a good team and we looked pretty terrible last week, but there's a lot of football left to play and I refuse to pick against our guys.

I just can't believe the team we saw was the real App. I know we'll come out pissed tonight, and I expect us to play much better. Unfortunately, I have this nagging feeling that they're just better than us. Hope I'm wrong.

I will be there cheering for the black and gold but dang if that beating last week hasn't taken the air out of my sails. I know we can play well enough to win this game, I just don't know if we will. No prediction here on this one but if we aren't focused and ready to play it could be uglier than last week. Here is to hoping we got all the wake up call we needed last week and we start to play App State Football from here on out. If we do, it will be a good season with another conference title, and if we don't it will be a long rest of the season.

Now a turnover and give them points. We are getting out coached and the teal turkey coach is sitting back laughing with his SEG. Can’t get out of our own way. Back to the situational with wrong personnel call that we’ve been guilty of all year, you make them drive the field and score not give them a short field if your bad call doesn’t work, just not good decisions. Riverboat gambling. Hard enough to beat a good team straight up.
