If there was ever any doubt that Chadwell is a complete douche, reading that article should put that doubt to rest.

Ever the talker “ That’s awesome that they feel like them beating us is rushing-the-field worthy. I think that’s where our program is”

I know you’re talking to 89, not me. But I didn’t find anything out of line at all. Sure Chadwell is brash and I dislike the whole vibe of his program but he’s doing his job. Absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Re: Myrtle Beach paper POST GAME
Wasn’t fond of that whole paragraph mostly.
“It’s a great place to play. There were a lot of people here and I think half of them trampled me after the game,” Chadwell quipped. “That’s awesome that they feel like them beating us is rushing-the-field worthy. I think that’s where our program is, and for us to continue to stay there we’ve got to win games like this. I tried to find their coach but it was mass chaos.”

Re: Myrtle Beach paper POST GAME
“They hit the middle of the field quite a bit, and when you take those shots you’ve got to be able to protect,” Chadwell said. “When you have a little bit more time to make some of those plays, we made the quarterback look like a draft pick today. He made some really nice throws. We made some nice plays early where we were there covering and knocked them away, but as it got going on he just put them on the money.”
Brice is only good because Coastal made him look that way.

Agree. That’s how I took it as well. He is trying to spin a negative into a positive to keep his base in it.

Nothing was out of line, and I didn't say that. I said he's a douche and I stand by that. Biggie already highlighted the statements so I won't repeat them.

Rushing the field is just something the students like to do. Enjoying the moment. Doesn't really have anything to do with us beating the "mighty" CCU. Mainly students being students. Would rather have that than empty seats at the end of the game.
Shout our to our student section(s). They are incredible! Thank you!

Sorry. You called him a douche, which I wasn’t, nor would I disagree, all while referencing an article where he was quoted. I was just asking to see what you found to be in character for him.

They had one good year. Good QB and good receivers. They can join the 1 hit wonder club. Turn out the lights the party is over

Doesn’t their weekly write ups normally include video footage of their postgame locker room antics? I can’t seem to find it anywhere today…

I REALLY want to know what they had planned as a locker room celebration had they won.booneboy92 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 11:09 amDoesn’t their weekly write ups normally include video footage of their postgame locker room antics? I can’t seem to find it anywhere today…

Re: Myrtle Beach paper POST GAME
Contrast this guy to Clark and Napier. Two of the three give credit to the other team, one doesn't.
He's a great offensive mind, but I'm glad he doesn't represent my university.

Re: Myrtle Beach paper POST GAME
Instead of "Man, Brice picked up apart today and we just couldn't get to him" he used the "we made him look like a draft pick" is sour grapes.
Hopefully we'll remember this as bulletin board material against them in the next few years.

Chadwell probably has 1 foot out the door already, he won’t be our problem much longer.
Give 'em hell!

Re: Myrtle Beach paper POST GAME
The announcers went on and on about how the rest of the college football world will soon begin running the Coastal style. Help me understand, what exactly is different about them? They run the ball (except last night), they throw to possibly the best or one of the best TE’s (except last night). They hit a few big plays and have lit up some inferior competition but I didn’t see anything different from a lot of other schools. Now if they put two defensive ends in the backfield or employed a 3 QB set I could agree. Don’t get me wrong they are dynamic at times but not out of this world incredible. If they had won and ended up top 10 a solid Big 10 or SEC would score at will.
