ULM discussion

Unread post by biggie » Sat Oct 23, 2021 9:00 pm

Saw they are handling SoAL currently 41-31 as 13.5 dogs. Could be a tougher game than we expected next week. At times they have been decent I’d say.

Their win against Liberty may not look as good after Lib struggled some with UNT today.

ULM is certainly a much improved team. wins over troy and USA are nice wins. We need to just continue to stay focused and play well and we should be fine..

They can put up the yards thru the air and that it is weakest part of our team thus far. Could more of a challenge than when the schedule came out. Bowden has them trending in the right direction.

I watched this game. ULM's D needs some work but App shouldn't take them lightly. The Warhawks scheme well on offense and have personnel that can move the ball.

This could be one of the toughest homecoming games since, well, Liberty all those years ago.

We cannot....I repeat, cannot overlook any remaining opponent. The focus needs to be intense every week.

Both ULM and South Ally are trending up , as is the Sunbelt.

I've heard some saying how the Belt is down this year. I understand that comment based on a certain perspective. Arkansas State is down, Troy has dropped from being a "top of the Belt" team to a Middle tier team....as has Georgia Southern. That said, the teams on the "bottom" are more of a threat than they've ever been...USA and Texas State are both showing signs of life. Troy is dangerous on that "any given day" basis. We pounded GSU but they have had moments this year too and if we had taken them lightly, they could have been dangerous. Arkansas State is not good (by their old standards) but gave UL all they wanted.

App can beat any team in the Belt IF we execute and play App State football. We've already seen what happens when we don't. I'm hoping we have that out of our system now and take care of business from here.

GO APPS!

Can't speak for y'all but lines that high make me uneasy.

My goodness -28, giving way too much credit to the CCU win.

ULM will be able to score on us, seems way too high

One of the originators of the spread option offense, Rich Rodriguez, is the ULM OC. He didn't forget how to coach.

A motivated ULM is a tough out. No way they should be treated lightly.

A win by 1 or 28 still counts as a W.

We can't look past anybody.

ULM has gotten better as the year has gone on. I imagine they would hope to get into a shootout with us. Looks like our pass defense better be ready.

We should win this game.
