Personally, I believe the passing offense can be fine. Brice was a little off today. However, we seem to struggle to run the ball. Could be opponents defensive scheme. I believe it may have been 1st drive 2nd half. Brice hit Williams with a short pass in middle of field around LBs area.like something one would do for a TE. It did not seem we tried to use short and intermediate middle of field. It is apparent that defenses are catching up to Ponce. Hopefully, he will evolve. With that said two long passes were great calls. One poor QB throw and other right through WR hands. These things happen.

Not only did we go 7-1 in conference, win the East, win 10 games again, obviously moving on to the CCG and another bowl game we will possibly finish the regular season top 20 both offensively and defensively as far as YPG. I think that today’s defensive effort moved us up several spots into the top 20.

This team has to rank up there with the all-time great ASU defenses

Yes, we won. Thank you seniors! Now the bad, the playcalling has been extremely vanilla. TY extremely. It's like the defense knows what we're going to run, inside or outside zone. We should've beat this team 56-0. I wish we'd open up the playbook a little more.

Let the players play, the coaches coach, and the officials officiate. When fans start playing and coaching and officiating, it is foolish, but that is why they are fans.

Now, TWIMC, put down the hemlock, take the gun out of your ear, back off the ledge - until next Saturday.

Our run game is the same every week, opponents know what’s coming and sell out to stop those zones. We are run first and try to impose our will working or not Our passing game has to be working to open the run zones. When it’s not working, things can get tougher. When a team doesn’t have a clue or the personnel, like North
Texas, games can get one sided in a hurry.

2006, if I recall correctly, was good defense in the FCS, how many of those guys spent time at the next level?

Always happy with a win but the first half was one of the most uninspired halves of football I have ever seen us play. Defensive tackling was bad which i haven't seen much at all this year. Second half was much better. Still dont understand the running back situation. I dont know why Cam doesnt get more carries in games where a power back would be better. Passing game was off so made it tougher to run. I dont have to be a coach to see the last 3 plays of the first half was awful playcalling and poor lack of use of timeouts. Glad we werent playing LaLa this week. Now lets go take our championship back next week.

So much handwringing. Southern scored 3 points. We’ve given up 17 total
Over the last 3 games. We hit 10 wins and are about to play for a conference title. Stop bitching. We’ve played 12 games and won 10. We don’t need anymore hot takes. We’ve already proven we are a good team this year. Enjoy the damn win!!!!

These guys complaining (still) about play calling must not realize that we have 2 games left. It’s not mid-season. Of all the accolades I mentioned forgot one. After allowing 3 points our PPG allowed dropped under 20. That should also put us in the top 20. I seriously doubt that we have achieved all of these national rankings to go with the record. AND I think we rank 2nd in TFL.

I simply can’t comprehend any complaints especially at this point.

I typically avoid the pointless pissing matches. Eyes were wide open the entire game. I also noticed that Stink actually competed and tried to win. I totally understand that this is a discussion board, fans can voice opinions, etc. My main point is that the game is over. We achieved some major goals. Neither you or I know crap about coaching college football. We ultimately beat the crap out of the same team who lost 34-17 to the number 13 ranked team. We allowed 3. Sometimes we call plays that get stopped. Sometimes it happens a few times a game. I see that with eyes wide open. I also saw a wide ass open receiver let an easy TD go through his arms. Stuff happens. Check out scores from today.

Remember Scot Sloan defended our offense for years before going to GaSo.....

He knew exactly how to scheme against the run for us.

I think most people forget that. Sloan is a good coach and he knows just how to defend against our run scheme. We should be very happy with 27-3.

Great atmosphere today at KBS, fans and students crushed it this year. It was announced at end of game we set a new attendance record this season.

As far as they game, give GSU credit for controlling the clock and limiting Apps offense. If anyone thought this was going to be a blowout from beginning to end has not been paying attention to our games with GSU in recent years.

Great day for these seniors to finish out their final game at KBS.

I hope this is the reason. I didn’t see a lot of push from our offensive line and Chase wasn’t able to set his feet on several throws.
