Re: 2021 PFF All-Sun Belt Teams
I believe the coaches will be different for sure. PFF teams are indeed a joke.
My thought was the same as you on those 4. Noel and Jones should both be first-team by the coaches. Also, PFF picks based on the position and that Mitchell is the best RT but Hodges should be first-team by the coaches since they just pick the best OL regardless of position.
Our LBs are studs and I agree Cobb was dissed with these. Someone on the 247 board made the comment that our LB group would start for any other team and might be 4 of the top 10 in the league but you likely don't see them all make the All-Sun Belt teams because that is hard to do. Well, it would surprise me if we don't see 4 LBs honored by the coaches. They have played that well.
According to PFF, Ramsey is a potential breakout star for 2022. They have him rated higher than anyone else on our OL just based on the reps he played but did not play enough to get All-Sun Belt by PFF.

Why doesn’t the left side of our OL get any recognition? I thought Anderson Hardy had played a pretty clean season with few mistakes while protecting the blind side of our QB.

Re: 2021 PFF All-Sun Belt Teams
Peoples is our best back and the best in the conference and will spend time in the NFL. Not sure if the conference has another NFL back. I certainly don't have an issue with him being chosen as first team, even though not sure what criteria are being used. He is the guy I want to tote the mail when a critical situation is on the line...hint, hint.

I thought Hardy would get HM or 3rd team and maybe he will by the coaches.

Re: 2021 PFF All-Sun Belt Teams
Pro Football Focus has a lot of people who pick these teams. Keep in mind that we are described as cash strapped yet our school, and many others actually pay PFF for their stuff. I don't understand why the media and school SID departments are so enamored with them. Their stuff does not take level of competition into account and they pay peanuts to inexperienced people to take the stats for them. I don't trust their stats are even 80% correct.
I firmly expect the coaches teams to look a lot different. I compared the PFF teams to the ACC Coaches list and it was very different. There were guys on the PFF 1st team that did not even make the coaches list.
