KFC is trash. I’ve never had Pop Eyes, but there is one 3 miles away on South Blvd. Not sure I can try fried chicken that’s sold out of low rent convenience stores, though. I think I will always be a Bojangles guy. Have been for well over 30 years.

Bojangles is the best! I'm fine with the other two in a pinch but I'll always be a Bo's guy

Well it's fast food , not Mama's home cooking....though Bo's biscuits are hard to beat.

Shrimp Boat Chicken in Gastonia beats them all - especially the extra crispy!

Something called "Shrimp Boat" and located in Gastonia is an interesting concept....given ocean is 3 to 4 hours away.... maybe that is why you recommend the chicken🤣

Yeah, I think there is one in Rock Hill, SC also. I tried it and it's good, but I don't think it displaced Bo's in my hierarchy. Just personal preference. It's just a small family seafood house with other southern foods also.

The now defunct famous Chicken Coop in Charlotte met anyone's fancy?

Yes there is a Shrimp Boat in Rock Hill. There is also a Lee's Famous Chicken that is comparable to SB and the others. As for KFC they lost all good sense after the Colonel passed away and they started messing with the recipe and the procedures. Tain't fittin' now....

There must be two with the "J-mo" moniker. In my era it was Jarvis Moore. You do have "Juice" correct.
