Re: JMU Game Day Thread
It early to say but...
We have a nice lead on James Madison
Who in week 1 blew out Middle Tennessee
Who currently has a big lead Miami
Who lost last week to Texas A&M
Who we beat in week 2
College football is strange. Go APP!

Hampton is having a really good day. He is definitely going to be a day two pick. He will get a Senior Bowl invite and NFL Combine invite. You can bet on that.

Re: JMU Game Day Thread
It is. Can never go by the theory that you should always beat a team that loses to a team you beat. Can never go by scores. These games with a 20 point or so lead can also change so easy.
We look good early but now making mistakes and JMU is not going to quit.

Let's keep the pressure going second half. Would love to see a nice 7-8 minutes drive to open the second half.

You’re damned if you do, damned if you don’t around here. Throw the ball up 18 at the end of the half and turn it over-people get up in arms. Sit on it/run-people get mad. We got lucky that the TO didn’t burn us.
Give 'em hell!

Man we had a chance to put this game away if we score before half and then come out strong. Kudos to JMU, their tough.
Would love to see us come out strong, put points on the board, and no more turnovers
Hodges has to protect the blindside.

Re: JMU Game Day Thread
Not really getting up in arms. Would have liked to punch another one in there before the half but after an incompletion, and a run of no gain, I would have been cool with just another run. Would I post clock management if we scored on a bomb? I'll admit I wouldn't, but I agree glad their field goal was missed.BeauFoster wrote: ↑Sat Sep 24, 2022 4:05 pmYou’re damned if you do, damned if you don’t around here. Re: JMU Game Day Thread
We'll, so much for taking advantage of the last possession of the first half and the opening possession of the second half...
