Nothing official in my mind until we hear it from WXApp, but looks like Ian is going to bring some rain to Boone on Saturday. Looks to be a cooler weekend as well.

Of course we'd have bad weather with a triple option team coming in. Assume that's what they still are at least.

I'm sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the official forecast! Lots of moving parts with Ian on the horizon!

Clark said they are triple option...so should be interesting if very wet.

A slippery ball is a slippery ball. Whether it's slippery throwing it or pitching it. Unless Citadel only hands it off on their triple option (highly doubt as that makes it almost impossible to run a true triple option), weather will impact them almost the same.

They only have like 150 yds passing in 3 games, so would assume that points to true triple option.

I figured Cid would have progressed to the Quad Option by now with the evolution of college play calling.

What’s the over/under for turnovers in 8” of rain and high wind?

I think the forecast calls for a severe drop in ticket prices.

More worried about Citadel not being able to get out of Charleston for the trip. I live down here and their campus and area around them floods like no other even on regular rain events. Hope they get out of town by tomorrow or early Thursday to make the trek up the mountain. And then, them coming home....that'll be a tough commute for them thru the storm.

Any chance the game will be cancelled?

Would think it would depend on Citadel making it up the mtn. Seems like it has been trending more east than it was yesterday so that may help the mtns get a little less rain.

Always a chance but it’s best to see what this storm does at this point.

If they can get out of CHarleston by Thursday early they'll be okay- anything after that will probably be a flood for us in Charleston. And theyll be driving in the storm the whole way. We're supposed to get pretty bad flooding in CHS though with it's current track. Bump the game up to noon. Get in, get the W, send em home, stay healthy and get home safe.

Track is shifting eastward. Storm may re-emerge on the east coast of Florida. I live and work in Calabash and the weather people are having a hard time figuring this one out. This morning we were looking at mainly a rain event, but if this storm continues to shift eastward we may get a tropical storm or hurricane. Lots of uncertainty.

This is true - guess we won't know for a few more days. I can handle it, just worried about my 5 year old complaining the entire time. Bought tickets off this site last week to take him to his first game and of course I dont believe the seats I bought are covered.......

Even if the game can not give me a heart attack this week the weather before it will.
