What question would you like asked of Coach Clark at the next press conference.

I will start.
Coach Clark...I have noticed we have few misdirection plays but we do have a few Play action passes where the quarterback fakes a handoff to the running back....Why or who do you think is making the mistake when running play action and the quarterback (Chase) or the running back goes the wrong way and the quarterback hands off to a ghost running back?
What would your question be???

That's by design to get a read on the LB. The LB is keying on the QB and doesn't even see the RB is going the other way. The LB reads based on the QBs first step and the QB reads what the counter step is.
Also, a lot of times, the RB has blitz pickup responsibilities. If the RB sees the blitz coming opposite side, it doesn't behoove them up to wait on the play action before going to pick up so they just go directly to the pickup.
My question would be what is happening in the locker room. This is more than xs and os.

Agreed here. Something does not seem right behind the scenes. We have the talent.

Why are we using Charmin to sandpaper that ass? Why do the bombs keep missing Baghdad?

Could we perhaps attempt to sometimes attack?
Oh, crap. Wrong guy.

So if I understand, you are saying we don't have play action passes and no one is making a mistake when he fakes the handoff to a ghost. Thanks for the explanation.

We do have play action passes and use them often. And there's likely an occasional mistake, but it's not every time like you seem to think.
Taylor and Zac did it too. Most QBs with WRs running option routes do it these days.

In David Ware form...Coach, I have noticed that you may change your wardrobe at halftime from time to time...black to white, white to black, yellow to white , white to yellow, black to a different black top...can you shed some light on what goes into your wardrobe change at halftime?
My shorter version...coach are you superstitious or just a little-stitious?

Sounds about right. Take a 8 word question and turn it into 100 LOL

What’s the situation with the running backs? I understand you want to keep things under wraps so the other team can’t game plan, but fans should at least have some idea of who is or is not playing and why.
Follow up, why, when a RB is tearing of 4-6 yard runs every play do you still insist on sticking with your rotation?

I definitely want some more insight here. Why do we continually rotate in the middle of the series? And why do we not rotate when we have a smaller back in in short yardage situations? This question has been asked about a billion times, and was even asked on the radio broadcast last night (on the first series).

After the 2020 season you repeatedly said that 9-3 could be a great season in many places, but not at App State. At 3-3, does that mean 2022 can't be a great season?

Question on the locker room for me - saw a lot of jawing on the side lines. Uncommon for App

I know a lot of the veterans are upset at the younger/newer guys for not executing.

Unfortunately, I don't have any press credentials so I won't be asking it. The person who runs the site (don't think it's even active any more) also doesn't have any kind of credentials.

That is a good question! If this team does not rebound then this will be a solid season, at best, but definitely not a great season. If we don't rebound this could end up being one of those historically awful seasons. I feel good that we will win 5 games but I am nervous beyond that.

David Ware sure can!
