Trying to read between lines from camp reports. Who's the QB? Burger. Transfer guy sounds good too. Any suprises out of camp. Sorry if this has been talked about, but have not in the loop this offseason like past. Thanks

Only 4 days in and they haven’t put the pads on yet. Probably too soon to tell.

Clark seemed to indicate they are neck and neck as it goes with the competition ..that could be some coach speak there to keep competition going..and to ensure you have an adequate backup...
Should be interesting to see. I am curious if either arm is as strong as Brice at this point in his career...say when he was RS Freshman...do they have as strong of arm at that point....and yes, having a strong arm is not everything...take accuracy over that...but will be curious to see

Burger seems to be getting all the shine.

Keep in mind that Joey Jones does the interviews after practice and he was probably off for the weekend and the team had Monday off.

Other than the 247 board, and even on the 247 board, it seems to have been this way since App went from FCS to FBS. Which I also think coincided with David Jackson leaving.

Clark mentioned somewhere that they would name a starter the week of GW, so likely a few weeks to go before the week 1 starter is named.

We have a lot of room for improvement, but it doesn't seem to be a priority.

I believe you're allowed one FCS win to count towards the 6 wins needed for bowl eligibility. Anything else like last season won't count.

Nope. One of the six wins can be an FCS. Last year was two FCS and so one didn’t count.
