Eric Church- "People, you know, they ask me all the time: When Appalachian plays Carolina
who do you pull for? And I pull for
Carolina,' Church says, chuckling. "I
mean, App State won't be happy with that.."

People ask me if I like to listen to music or Eric Church. I always choose music. At this point, he’s such an embarrassment, that we should serve him a cease and desist as it pertains to his connections to App State. UNC and she are a perfect fit for each other.

It's actually a terrible look for him, and embarrassing for ASU. I understand growing up a Carolina fan and even pulling for them when they are playing anyone else, but he graduated from ASU. He's a soulless flake.

Most App State fans are fans of football only --- and then big Tar Hole basketball fans -- and most don't even know App State has other sports.

Basically Hwy 321 Eric calls it like the typical trailer park UNC fan is across the state - never understood why the uneducated pull for the Heels when they wouldn't let 99.9% in school or even want them on their country club campus. -- at least he let's his dad buy or spend money on Athletics Suite for games to entertain his Hwy 321 friends.

People ask me all the time if I listen to Eric Church just because I like Country Music. I laugh and say, "no, that's not country music".

Please people. I don't like it either but he is free to choose who he supports and obviously vocalize it. Forget about him. He's not worth talking or worrying about.
And it doesn't matter to him what we or anyone else says or thinks. If he thinks it's cool to do what he does and buddy up with Mack Brown and Roy Williams then so be it. He isn't going to change. His loss. Plus, we have Luke Combs who is a WAAAAAAAY bigger deal.
1-0 this week. Beat Wyoming!

It is funny the media guide lists him as an alum....I did not think he ever earned his degree?

Haven't commented on this particular topic before. Eric is into college football and basketball (specifically UNC) and with that said I have a hard time believing that he wasn't aware that College Gameday was in Boone last year. The special guest representing App was Luke Combs. Not sure if a university has any say in who the guest on Gameday will be. Regardless, Eric got the message who App State's preferred country music star alum is.

So, he can have and voice his opinion and I can’t? Nope. Fvkk Eric Church!
I will boo and scream to the top of my lungs. It won’t affect him one bit, but I’ll feel better about it.

And, one more time…
FVKK ERIC CHURCH!!!

To clarify this horse has already been glue consumed by a preschool kid at this point.

I don't care for the music.... I don't care for the fact he likes UNC more.... but that's his choice. I would be curious if he has contributed to App State any. Not that it is any of my business but I would be able to cut him some slack without feeling dirty about it. Lol
