That's right --- we are bringing the Flying Yosef head logo out of the vault! For one time ONLY!


Launching in conjunction with App State's Homecoming game on Saturday, fans attending will have the first option to purchase this product line during the game inside Kidd Brewer Stadium.


Act fast, these items will not last long on the shelves! Once they are gone, this logo will return to the vault.

I'm okay with it. Wasn't a fan when it came out in the 80's I believe but anything nostalgia is good with me.

I don't like the flying Gordon's Fisherman Yosef but his one never bothered me at all. Just looked uninspired when I first saw it in the 80s and I didn't think much of it. Now it is a rare retro item that brings back memories for me. Might just pick one up.

I think I like all of them that aren't the fisherman.

I had a Hardee’s cup for YEARS with this logo and I cherished it. Sadly a girl stole it from me.

I actually liked this logo on the helmets. The only thing I didn't care for was that version of Yosef. This was during the years when they tried to "clean up" Yoself. They trimmed his beard, took away the pope and gave him a new hat. It pretty much just looked like "man with hat and beard" but nothing about it said "Mountaineer" to me. I wish they would put Victory Yosef in the middle and this one would be awesome.

Still have the YOSEF Club tag with it , somewhere....

I still have a Yosef Club pin with that logo on it that I still wear to every game.

One of my favorite App logos. Also the snow capped A was a good one.

Still waiting on them to use the ESPN Yosef logo some time.

Love it!!! Have said for a while they should use this as a retro logo on merchandise....the logo they had when I first moved to Boone....I was told App didn't have the rights to this logo is why it hadn't been used...but I guess they do. Would like to see this on the helmets once per year.

Is it possible to see any other options? I dig that logo, but not enlarged and centered on a hoody.

Think it would look better, smaller and on the left or right chest area on a t-shirt.
