We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Team will benefit

Unread post by mountaineerman » Wed Oct 25, 2023 8:33 pm

If we continue to support them. I’ve had time to settle down and I apologize if I offended anyone with my posts. I’ve attended every game but ULM and Wyoming. I’ve studied all the games and what I see is a young team that can’t finish. We honestly could be 7-0 let that sink in. Penalties, coaching ,dropped passes , costly turnovers..etc . One thing I will say is we are in every game even against good teams and Bad. I don’t have much to say on that. History tells me we will be back on top shortly. I’ll be there Saturday to watch us tear SM apart …I think we’re due.
(What really prompted this post was watching this JSU-FIU game and what a dead atmosphere just dead probably 1000 people there.)

It is easy to criticize, attack and flame others on an anonymous message board...and we see plenty of that here and across the internet. What isn't easy for us as humans is to say things like "I was wrong" or "I'm sorry if I offended anyone."

Brother, thank you for your humility and willingness to apologize for real/imagined slights.

At the end of the day, we're all passionate about App Football and have gotten used to this squad winning. So frustration is understandable, especially given how many close games have been lost over the past few seasons. We're all guilty of letting our emotions play out around this topic. Thanks for your transparency!

I hear you

But nothing, I mean nothing in the last 2 years has shown me an upward direction.
I am a very positive person and loyal fan... I am from Philly, that should tell you .... Phillies...lol

If this team shows me a glimpse of beating a bad team to the ground or actually showing leadership and pulling off a win against a good team, I will start to believe again.

Until I see it...... I am just going to wait, in faded rose colored glasses . ..lol
