Word from the field today is Middleton has a broken bone in his foot and Chisolm has a broken hand. Crapola.

Not good for a young, inexperienced team with limited depth.

CRAP! I was afraid of something like that when we didn't see Chisholm again. Well, here's hoping they both heal quickly. We have some depth ar RB but Middleton's loss is gonna hurt.

Sucks badly. Don't know anyone besides Miller that I'd want at RB right now.

And Middleton absence started the downhill slide of the defense today.

Does the redshirt come off Holloway now?

Do we have anyone who can fill Middleton's spot?

I think it was Aaron Krah taking Middleton's spot at CB ---

Just realized Lott is suspended for two games as well, hopefully he can come back and help in the D backfield.

Dangit all to heck!! :x This is really going to hurt next week. Once Lott gets back hopefully he can take over the DB role and Sumler can take over the return duties.

As far as Chisholm, I said in another thread I guess this will kill SS's plan to red shirt Holloway unless Fergerson can step in. I know he's been playing well but I don't know if he's is good enough right now to allow them to keep Holloway out. The one thing we can't afford right now is more injuries

I think all these suspensions are, in some cases, a welcome sign. Not anything negative toward any individual player- just a sign that the "disipline" belt has been tightened significantly, which I think we would all agree is a very good sign from the apparent little things that have been let go for a few years. There's a message being sent that there will be zero-tolerance from now going foward.

I agree that we need to stand firm on discpline, but what makes me mad is the staff keeping us in the dark once again. Supposedly this all goes back to the rumored 2 game suspensions we heard about in the spring. They have been asked repeatedly about that situation and have said everyone was ready to play. Why not be honest? ECU was upfront about 3 guys sitting out...

Can you tell me how to start a new thread? I searched last night for a "new thread" button & could not find. Others seem to have caught on quicker than I, so I apologize.

Thanks.

Should be a "New Topic" button at the top left when you click into a section. In this section it would say "App Football", then the new topic button is just below it.

Oh, OK, I guess if it was a snake ...

I must have been looking too hard.

Not sure if there is anything to this but I also thought I saw Kimbrough coming off the field and receiving treatment. Maybe I'm mistaken but just wondering if anyone can hopefully dispel my suspicions?

I really don't think we need to know every little detail of what these kids have done. I have full confidence in their coaches handing out discipline. Just the way I look at it.

Glad to hear it was just cramping for Kimbrough. I want to say he came out after delivering a big hit and was concerned it may be concussion related. Since he re-entered it must have been something less serious.
