We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

I don't know enough about the other top players in the Belt but Joey has to be in the conversation for POTY

100%
He's got "it" and "it" is exactly what this team needed this season.

I feel like McCloud is the only competition. Winning the head to head has to help Joey, but if JMU goes 11-1 they might lean towards the other guy

I looked at Sunbelt stats. Joey is third behind McLeod (2nd) and the GS QB as far as YPG but leads in TD passes. I don't think that of his 29 many have been a dump off and run for a TD. He's got to have at least 20 that have been legit long passes. Looks like it might come down to the last game. If he out duels the Stink QB that should take care of him. Might also require us winning the east and even the CCG. Don't they give a POY and offensive POY? No matter what he's been outstanding

I would say Vidal from Troy is in contention as well. Given Joey's late season performance and our rise with it, puts him in the running. However, at this moment I would think Vidal is the front runner. But, that could change with another big week from Joey.

Actually, those stats are wrong. Joey leads per game by less than a yard over Brin. If you look at the stats they are calculating Joey based on 12 games even though we've only played 11. Joey also leads the conference in total offense but again the Sun Belt says he has played 12 games.

Edit: The Sun Belt stats and AppStateSports.com stats don't jive. I would think ours are the correct ones given that the Sun Belt has Joey playing 12 games. So, he likely doesn't lead the conference in total offense but who knows.

I have noticed this also, it skews all of our stats bc they have us playing an extra game. Not sure how to get that fixed on their end. It’s across the board that say we played 12 games.
