Game Balls: JMU

I’m going Oprah with this one. You get a game ball! YOU get a game ball!!! YOU GET A GAME BALL!! EVERYONE GETS GAME BALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a total team effort: players, coaches, support staff, and fans. Everyone gets to share in this one. Way to shut up the Dukes on their day.

Defense, definitely. Joey, definitely. K-Rob, definitely. TE’s, definitely. Hate that Thomas Davis had to leave, he was having a great game. His fumble causing tackle was a difference maker.

Dline - 5 sacks. Pressing their QB was so critical to the overall success of the defense.

And Joey!

I can't think of any group other than maybe our running backs to get game balls but JMU is legit good against the run so grain of salt here. Guess they pick their poison because Joey lit them up. Great game to the entire team and coaches.

The entire team did their job, but I have to go with Joey on this one, He is just getting better and better as the season goes on. Still makes some mistakes, but dude is ice.

And Joey!
And, we were able to get pressure on the QB without blitzing. Three and four man fronts were getting in his face.

They should give him and Lou Holtz their own TV show...that might be interesting.

Team gets a game ball...outside of App fans, NOBODY thought we would win.
It was a consummate team effort.

Saw it posted somewhere, they said everyone gets a game ball including whoever picked GameDay to go to Harrisonburg.
I watched from home, game and GameDay and I'm so hoarse I can't talk this morning.
It's a great day to be a Mountaineer!

Game ball to the team and the investment in the game. Over the past 3 to 4 games the spirit, attitude and never give up attitude has risen. Same for the JMU game. This team played the entire game and never gave up. Also, there seems to be a vibe that was missing early in the year. Games balls to all players and coaches!!

Even they made some big catches for first down! Castle had a huge one on third and long in the 4th.

If I had to pick a player, Joey. If I had to pick a group, D-Line.
