By the last 90's the Gold Room was no longer the spot on campus, what year do you think that changed? Feels like it peaked in the 80's.

It was there in 95. Date night for the wife and I..no clue on why changed

I went occasionally in the late 90s but wasn't anything special at the time.

The prime rib was pretty good.

True.

I was there til ‘86 and it was really special to burn some meal card there. Really good in the Spring if you managed to buy meal money off a girl trying to lose that winter layer.

Go to the girl's dorms late in the quarter and pick up some meal books on the cheap. Then hit the Gold Room for a better than average steak! Oh those were the days!!
