I am not in the betting game when it comes to App. St. Just a personal superstition I guess..
I think people should bet all they want..it is your money...do with it what you will.. I just cannot bring myself to do it...

For God's sake reinstate Pete Rose.

I would suggest all games but App. I don’t want players and coaches to see any betting for or against App.

Just curious, what is your thought process behind this? I could see the bet against for morale, which looks like everybody (at least so far) in this thread doesn't do.

HBO Max has a good 4 part documentary on Pete Rose. I think it came out this year. I watched it a few weeks ago.

For important games, I like betting against the team I want to win. I need to figure what I'm comfortable losing to get an App win. $50? $100? I'm thinking $100 on ECU to win at +105 is what I'll do. Either make $105, or ideally come away with an App W.

I do like the slow and steady approach of the ML action. Especially, against the White Sox.

I would not bet for us to lose and have to consciously root for the other team just to win some money. I don’t ever make large individual bets so it’s not a big deal for me. I’ve hit a few nice ones on Fan Duel but overall I’m at break even since this thing became legal.
