We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

He can play as long as he can stay focused on the goal.
Maybe this reinforces that point.

What makes this even better in my mind is I've been told Hopper was verbally committed to ECU. We beat them in Charlotte, and he decommits and commits to us.
The same person said that game had nothing to do with it and it was more about staying closer to his family (I believe he had a kid on the way at that point), but I just don't believe it. I think it was more Ware's Shelby connections, but I don't know that for certain -- that's just a gut feeling.
But, either way -- he was the best player statistically in the whole country against the program that thought they stole him from us.

So if Hopper has a kid, and teams come calling, it’s going to be hard for him to turn that kind of money away.704App wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2024 6:31 amWhat makes this even better in my mind is I've been told Hopper was verbally committed to ECU. I'm old and already lost my memory so it may not be true at all -- that's just what I think I remember from that conversation.ericsaid wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2024 8:55 amSo if Hopper has a kid, and teams come calling, it’s going to be hard for him to turn that kind of money away.704App wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2024 6:31 amWhat makes this even better in my mind is I've been told Hopper was verbally committed to ECU. I can't remember what I did yesterday though so I may be inadvertently making it all up... Don't take anything I say as gospel

For a reason or 2, I think he finishes his career at APPericsaid wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2024 8:55 amSo if Hopper has a kid, and teams come calling, it’s going to be hard for him to turn that kind of money away.704App wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2024 6:31 amWhat makes this even better in my mind is I've been told Hopper was verbally committed to ECU.
