Know it has been debated for a while, but surprised to see ~one month out notification of Peacock lot coming offline and prompting reallocation.

Also wanted to specify, this is based on my untrained construction eye of the lot. Not based on any fact.ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 24, 2025 1:49 pmMajority of the lot is still active. The spots closest to the building are no longer existent. Hopefully it won’t be a huge disruption.
I have not received any information on parking yet. I was keeping the same lot I had last year (Rivers St deck) so I assume I still have it. Where do we see our lot assignment?
I presume in the next week or so. I'm more curious if the passes will be digital or paper like in years past.Mountaineers89 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 24, 2025 5:42 pmI have not received any information on parking yet. I seem to recall reading somewhere that they will be paper and would be mailed out the first of August.1997CLT wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 8:40 amI presume in the next week or so. Call the YC and they can tell you.Mountaineers89 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 24, 2025 5:42 pmI have not received any information on parking yet. I was keeping the same lot I had last year (Rivers St deck) so I assume I still have it. Where do we see our lot assignment?
I asked the same question last year. Was told that Security/PD wanted paper passes. I am very much inTurfMonkey wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 10:39 amI presume in the next week or so. I'm more curious if the passes will be digital or paper like in years past.
That and someone park in the wrong spot and then walks away and you have no idea whose car is getting towed.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 11:06 amI asked the same question last year. favor of that. I can just picture the hold up while Grandpa fumbles through his phone with 50 cars behind in line.
(and I am as guilty of low tech savvy as Grandpa)
I go to the ticket office at the start of the season and pay to have them printed for the year. So much easier to distribute at tailgate when there's no cell service.
I have three frames full of Paper Tickets--The Masters, Acc Tournaments, The Natty's, Daytona 500, Infield ticket stubs from North Wilkesboro, Busch Series races at Hickory, NCAA tournaments, Wrigley, Season Tickets from the inaugural season of the Panthers.etc. There's art in nostalgia.BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 12:23 pmI am a paper ticket guy... even if the process is seamless with electronic. I like to keep certain high profile games. Although a loss, UNC, Miami games in Boone as examples.
Went to ACC Bball finals a few years ago.. Electronic ticket....would have liked to have the paper tickets for memory sake .
In terms of art, mine is more abstract expressionist art... All the tickets are on an oversized glass beer mugWASU 93 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 5:37 pmI have three frames full of Paper Tickets--The Masters, Acc Tournaments, The Natty's, Daytona 500, Infield ticket stubs from North Wilkesboro, Busch Series races at Hickory, NCAA tournaments, Wrigley, Season Tickets from the inaugural season of the Panthers.etc. There's art in nostalgia.BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 12:23 pmI am a paper ticket guy... even if the process is seamless with electronic. The spots that were closest to Peacock are out, as are all spots on the little hill leading up to the Howard Street gate. Also spots on Duncan side are out.ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 24, 2025 2:51 pmAlso wanted to specify, this is based on my untrained construction eye of the lot.
