When speaking on linebackers, Satterfield makes no mention of Brandon McGowan, the highly touted recruit.....Disappointing, as I expected him to step up this season.T-Dog wrote:Here's one from today talking about some newcomers who are contending in the two-deep.

Fact check: Patrick Blalock, not former player/coach Jason Blalock.T-Dog wrote:Here's one from today talking about some newcomers who are contending in the two-deep.

i've noticed that throughout the spring and summer. would be curious to know what has happened there.ASU-FTW wrote:When speaking on linebackers, Satterfield makes no mention of Brandon McGowan, the highly touted recruit.....Disappointing, as I expected him to step up this season.T-Dog wrote:Here's one from today talking about some newcomers who are contending in the two-deep.

Unless I hear otherwise (and when the first real two deep comes out that will answer a question or two) I'm going with the same thing I was told about Sumler. Too many players to cover each one and no news is good news. DJ mentioned him in the camp report yesterday, saying he and Anderson bring experience to the inside. If he was playing terrible I don't think he would have brought him up. We've been fortunate to have some freshmen stepping up at LB and they have been spending a lot of time covering them. The two deep will answer some questions for us all so I'm going to reserve judgement until then.mtnjax wrote:i've noticed that throughout the spring and summer. would be curious to know what has happened there.ASU-FTW wrote:When speaking on linebackers, Satterfield makes no mention of Brandon McGowan, the highly touted recruit.....Disappointing, as I expected him to step up this season.T-Dog wrote:Here's one from today talking about some newcomers who are contending in the two-deep.
