Hey everyone. First time posting here. Blincos in Raleigh had always been the App State meet up for games in the past but, they have closed down. Does anyone know where the new Raleigh meet up for games is now?

Re: Blincos-Raleigh Closed
I was shocked to learn about this last week. I have searched the alumni website high and low for "viewing parties" and cannot find a single mention of any across the country for next weekend. I finally sent an e-mail today asking whats up? I explained the situation in Raleigh and am hoping they have some answers for the "new" triangle location.
Someone posted last week they had contacted Rudino's in Cary/morrisville and they are going to show the game. The thing that made Blinco's so great though was its central location to the entire area and it was a well known place among alumni throughout the area.
Unfortunatly, Due to the lack of info available about Blinco's and the Triangle Alumni viewing party, I had to make the executive decision today to watch the game at home... Had in-laws lined up to watch our 2 yr old, but had to cancel those plans. I don't care anything about showing up to a bar expecting the crowd we always had at Blinco's to find my wife and I are the only ones there pulling for the Apps.... Did that once in Charlotte prior to Angry Ale's adopting the Apps and it was a buzzkill. Oddly enough, that was the 2009 Montana playoff game.
Hopefully the Triangle Chapter can find a new place and get the word out. I know several alumni associations utilize Sammy's Tap & Grill at Mission valley (Avent Ferry) near NC State. They have a great set-up similar to what Blinco's had and would Be my vote for 1st choice of new destination.

Re: Blincos-Raleigh Closed
I was surprised to hear that Blincos was closed as well. That's what prompted me to reach out to Rudino's, but I realize it is not a very central location for everyone around the Triangle. I'm not sure if their other locations have the same options as the one in Cary, but they might be able to stream the game from ESPN3. I will be at the alumni event tomorrow night in Zebulon for the baseball game and will talk more with the alumni association in regards to viewing parties that are more central to the area. Hopefully by Tuesday we'll have a better answer and more locations to view the game. If not, then those who are able to make it to Rudino's in Cary are all welcome. I hope to arrive by 8, if not earlier, and have the place packed with the Black & Gold faithful.
