If true, it would be neat if it were the final game...sort of like their bowl game.TheMoody1 wrote:Heard from a reliable source we will be headed back there next year.
heck, Campbell has been burning the phone up to CC today to schedule us.hapapp wrote:If true, it would be neat if it were the final game...sort of like their bowl game.TheMoody1 wrote:Heard from a reliable source we will be headed back there next year.
I would just like to get an idea of what are schedule will look like next year. On Mountaineer Talk, Scott said we would play an FCS program each year to guarantee six home games. Suggested they would likely be teams the fan base is familiar with, like Furman or Western. Also said, we are looking for home and home games with OOC FBS programs. A Wake grad called and requested we resume that series. Scott joked (?) that Grobe wasn't thrilled with the idea.
Teams that play at Hawaii are allowed to add an extra game to their schedule to generate revenue to offset the cost of the trip.hapapp wrote:If true, it would be neat if it were the final game...sort of like their bowl game.TheMoody1 wrote:Heard from a reliable source we will be headed back there next year.

Campbell is already on the schedule for 2014. I believe it is the home opener after our trip to Ann Arbor.Black Saturday wrote:heck, Campbell has been burning the phone up to CC today to schedule us.hapapp wrote:If true, it would be neat if it were the final game...sort of like their bowl game.TheMoody1 wrote:Heard from a reliable source we will be headed back there next year.

I agree with you on this and will go on to say if it's not the last game then it should not be scheduled at all unless it precedes a bye week. Our 2003 trip out there was a loss followed by a total loss at EKU the next week. Too much travel and too many time zones to deal with.hapapp wrote: If true, it would be neat if it were the final game...sort of like their bowl game.
