Do we play "down" to lesser competition or are we not as good as we think we are?

5 minutes from losing to both AT&T and Chuck South - worst season in program history...

Probably looking at two more losses in the next two weeks - at Citadel and Samford at home.
Could be staring at 1-5.

We are not a very good football team, at best we are a marginal FCS level team. Heaven help us once we move to FBS. By the way, Satterfield broke another record today, our 19 game winning streak against Big South teams has ended. Also, we are on a three game losing streak at the Rock. Totally Unacceptable!!!

I'm afraid that's the truth...it sucks losing. We can all empathize with Western...I'm not going to be so mean to them now.

We will be lucky to win 2 more games this season. The timing could not have been worse for this program to tank. Charlie Cobb was handed on a silver platter a program at its peak and has butchered it. Yeah I know it's more complicated but he has botched every opportunity for him to take football and basketball to the next level.
We will thrive again but this game was a turning point and it will get worse before it gets better.

This is probably the worst ASU football team I have ever seen on the field. Yes there are some bright spots. But this is going to really bad. A 3-8 season is coming fast. Satterfield seems lost.

Bingo. This is my worst nightmare for the program long term. A lot of season left... But, the competition is going to get MUCH more difficult next year. If we get off to a poor start in FBS... it is going to be extremely difficult to recover from. We needed momentum going into FBS and we are going backward in the worst way.
All is not lost and this season really doesn't mean much... But, i am now terrified of what's going to happen long term.

I really don't think this is an untalented football team. There might be more talent than ever before. It's the decisions. The coaching decisions and the players' decisions. Satt and Woody could get out-schemed by a high school chess club and the players' will is broken WAY to easily.
