Speaking of speeches, there was a quote from Coach Sloan on MI that there was a player's only meeting. hopefully the Seniors and some Juniors got after the young guys about actually caring and wanting to win

Reported attendance was 29K, actually. Despite the struggles so far our fans still turn out. We had 13k more show up for our game vs an unknown OOC opponent than Georgia Southern did for UTC.
But let the haters keep preaching how we will only have 10K fans in Boone once we 'suck'

No, it's not over!! It's not over till we say it's over!! Was it over when the German's bombed Pear Harbor? Hell, no! And, it's not over now. It starts this Saturday in Charleston, time for some pay back!!
