They have essentially given us the game and penalties and poor play are the story

Three losses by a FG.

We did play better defense today than last week and certainly better than last year vs. this Citadel team.

We must get better on both lines though.

You have to realize that A&T, CS, and Citadel are all much better than they used to be. These are tough teams we are playing.

Fire Cobb RIGHT NOW. Don't let the sunset before his a$$ is out. Get some people's attention and do it now.
This staff is terrible. Satt sounded like a Jr High coach on the sideline interview talking about playing hard and warriors, blah, blah, blah. We are NOT into morale victories in the friggin SoCon against a 1-4 team, coach. I was so excited about him, but he's way over his head. If they win another game it will be a complete surprise at this point.

It is obvious to anyone with limited intelligence that Jamal is toast and Kam can't throw more than 15 yards. All teams have to do is keep the game in front of them. What blows my mind is that we only take advantage of it at the end of the game.

I say we pack it in and start preparing for Western. I can handle losing to anyone but them. I will poke my eyeballs out before I watch us lose to those red necks.

This one hurts more than the others. Citadel was 1-4.

Good news -Kids didn't quit when they could have.
Bad news- We gave up more than 300 yards rushing and struggled at times on third and fourth downs. Time to do something with the D, platoon for fresher bodies if we have them. More blitzing, something, anything. We can' just line up, wait and react. Need to cause some disruption in the offensive flow.

Tough matchup next weekend as well for ASU. Probably our second best opponent to date. Samford has beaten GSU today, 44-34. GSU is also going through some growing pains. I guess Samford will be overconfident next week and ripe to be knocked off!

This team just does not know how to win, they are their own worst enemy. For example, late in the first half they have a chance to go up 14 (plus have the ball to start the second half), but, turn the ball over due to a bad snap (two in a row by the way). I could go on and on how they continually "flop" around. If this team would learn how to not shoot themselves in the foot and stumble all over themselves they could turn things around. Once again, they simply don't know how to win, can't get out of each other's way.

I was just talking to a buddy saying the same thing. It has to be heart breaking each week for these kids. It seems like each week they find a new way to not win.

Thank you, WXApp. Thank you.

To the rest of you remember that opinions are like arse holes; we all have them and mine probably stinks worse than others but I've been in this athletic business for too many years to give up on one season with a new head coach and all the changes that have occurred. Three to four years from now I might have a different opinion but for now, GIVE 'EM HELL, APPS!! BEAT SAMFORD!!!
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.
