Looks like the weather forecast has fallen apart on us from what it looked like two days ago. Doesn't appear it will be as nice as it once did. Waiting to see final forecast, hoping more changes are afoot and that Karen's remnants will some move on more quickly.

***FRIDAY UPDATE***
Weather trends have changed a bit over the last 48 hours. Fly in the ointment has been the coastal low. Remnants of what was Tropical Storm Karen will vex the forecast through the weekend. Throw in an approaching cold front, well west, weak high pressure north, and a bit of a squeeze play is at work. In short, I'd be safe in the suggestion that you wrap your brain around increased cloud cover, with the chance for some drizzle or light rain at times through the afternoon and evening hours. Temps for kickoff look to land in the mid to lower 60s.
Is this a lock? No, but the trends have been leaning this way since yesterday afternoon. A few other models had been offering up a drier solution, but alas, it appears they may be on board with this concept. Either way, hit the High Country, enjoy THE ROCK and seeing old friends and family. The weather be damned!!
GO MOUNTAINEERS!

Seems like Homecoming last year was mostly cloudy with a slight drizzle and a bit of a chill in the air.

Seems it rained at one other Samford game at the Rock
I can still see AE recovering his own dropped ball and throwing the ball to Cedric Baker-Boney for a big gain. Brownie called the play as "Nintendo meet Harry Houdini" What a game that was!
Rain or shine, it's always a good day to be at the Rock!
