A comment if I may....

This season is a really bad one. The last one that I actually was a part of (as in being a student trainer and on the sideline) like this was 1977 when we were picked to win the SoCon and finished 2-9. It sucks, and no one likes losing. Regardless of the record, the outcomes, the wins, or the losses it matters not to me what others may think; I'll be in my east side seats on Saturday. To all the ones who are a) ready to fire Coach Satterfield; b) think the players are sorry; c) think they can do a better job...I submit to you The Rough Rider:

I was there in 1977 with you. If was ugly.....but out of that fire was built the program we have today. Sometimes we have to go through times when things just Ain't Working!...just like right now it Ain't Sattisfying to anyone but this group is in a lot better place than we were in 1977 and they will get it together soon and we will remember this time as a challenge.

We will be there in the 214 this week, next week and on the 23rd of November. As for Jawja, and Woofy...will be there too!

Good posts on this thread. This season kinda reminds me of the year after Sparky Woods left in 1988. A lot of change happened back then too and we didn't know what to expect. Add to this year also unexpetedly losing preseason all-american QB and preseason player of the year at WR. I have noticed that these guys have not received many good breaks this year too imo. It may even get worse as this year goes on and this season definitely sucks, but it is Always Great to be a Mountaineer. We will be there in section 111 Saturday and years to come too. Go APPS!!

I've been getting upset too, only because I've only experienced 1 season like this since 1985.

I will also be in the stands Saturday,,,,,,will be at Woffy and Georgia..... You will always find me in Boone and most of the time on the road, no matter what the record will be.......

Always a Mountaineer.....Good times and bad times....

We as fans expect the players and staff to defy adversity and suck it up. Conversely, we fans should suck it up and hang in there.
