From App Trail--and Tommy Bowman--
"Until last year’s season-ending loss to Illinois State, Appalachian State had won a remarkable 65 of 72 home games dating to 2003.
Good times gone, or at least taking a sabbatical, the Mountaineers have lost their last four games at Kidd Brewer Stadium. They’ll try to avoid five when Georgia Southern comes calling Saturday.

If the string of home losses grows to five in a row, it will be the longest such streak for Appalachian since it began playing football in 1928.
The four-game skid at home is the longest for the program since 1970 and ‘71, when Kidd Brewer Stadium was notably smaller and known as Conrad Stadium."
App also lost 4 in a row at home in 1979. App has never lost 5 straight home games!
